we are using Windows 7, where this problem can be observed in Firefox 4 and IE8.

I tried both IE8 and Firefox 4 on Win7 box but can not reproduce the issue. It might relate to particular file paths. Can you please send files under "<global storage dir>/<build id>/changes" so that I test here to see what happens?

This is caused by a custom plugin introducing another version of Wicket into QuickBuild.
