Our scenario is slightly different. In our pipeline, we have only one checkout from the repositiory, right at the start of stage A. The following stages in the pipeline work on the same workspace as A (via publish artefacts / fetch input files), i.e. there are no more checkouts in B, C or D. What's more, we only want the result of stage D displayed at SCM side, A, B and C are just intermediate quality gates
