Due to HessianProtocolException which is stored in the configuration error message it is not possible to use https://<server>/rest/configurations?recursive=true as the xml parser always fails to parse the output because the invalid character is also stored. Please translate the invalid code somehow to be able to use the rest endpoint without errors.

Can you please take a backup of your database using your database tool (not QB backup tool) and send me [robin AT pmease DOT com] for diagnostics? Please also let me know the configuration in question.

Please upgrade to QB 6.1.28 to see if it works.
