Ameet,

You may submit an improvement request so that custom variable can be displayed on dashboard. As to search by variables, that will be impossible as variables are stored as serialized form in QB database and is not searchable.

Regards
Robin

Subject: RE: Question on App version Vs Build Version

I like the idea of having a variable and thought on using it but we cannot add it to the dash board. We can only add it to custom variables which is the overview page and the build page.

Secondly, we cannot search builds by variable values. If we could do that, then it would be great and we can do what you are saying.

Thank you,
Ameet Shah
