 Description  « Hide
We recently switch to 6.04 and it looks like after a build is done using a perforce repository with shelve support the files doesn't get reverted at the end of the build.
It leaves the files chekout by the build machine, i'm pretty sure it use to work before.

These files will be reverted when next build starts. Previously we revert files at end of build, but some customers feel that this is inappropriate as they want to check the workspace files to trace down problems in case of build failure. Reverting files will make workspace not the same as the state when the build is produced.

Hi Robin, thanks for the answer.
Could we make this an option then ?
Like default is "leave open before next build" / "always revert at then end of build" / "revert at the end of build if successful"
Or something like that ?

By the way is it normal (with the new behavior) the files stay opened even if the build is successful ? (I can understand if build is failed for build debugging but at least to me it doesn't make sense if the build is not in an error/cancel state).

This is a reasonable request. We will add those options to next patch release.
