so apparently what happened is that when the QB build configuration changed: before the nightly tests were named "4.RunTests-Nightly" and now they are called "3.RunTests-Nightly", so the name changed, and apparently with QB, any dashboards referring to this build disappear when the name changes

What do you mean dashboards referring to the build? Can you please post a screenshot?

So what's the problem is all "added to favourites" dashboards that were using "4.RunTests-Nightly" configuration, after renaming to "3.RunTests-Nightly" have disappeared.

And after that renaming the dashboards report the following issue:

My test here is that dashboards using renamed configurations still exist in favorate list, but just displays the information "Can not find configuration 'root/Intake/NavKit/navkit-main/4.RunTests-Nightly/Linux-X86_64-NDS-NKW/Component-Test/Debug'. ". Is this what happening at your side?
