Hi Robin,
We can implement and test what you have mentioned. However, would it be possible to have a method call like getChangesSince() which excludes externals (eg getChangesSinceExcludingExt()). This will really help us out as this forms the core of our validations we perform for deployments and we would like to avoid too much customization in its implementation.
Also this will allow us to migrate easily from 5.0.x to 5.1.x. This one enhancement is our main worry for the upgrade.
