"My Tab" enable/disable option

Created: 04/Mar/14 08:45 AM   Updated: 05/Aug/14 02:30 PM
Component/s: None
Affects Version/s: 5.0.16
Fix Version/s: 5.1.15

Original Estimate: Unknown Remaining Estimate: Unknown Time Spent: Unknown
Environment: Linux, Windows, Solaris

 Description  « Hide
In our environment, the requirement is to propose a standard for notifications which can be set by admins only, using Access settings. We do not want to allow users to set their own email notification from 'mytab', which is causing a maintenance overhead. Either there should be an option to enable/disable "My Tab" (or its features like notifications) for the groups or the users, or there should be a way for QuickBuild admins to track the teams/users who are using this feature ( 'my tab' to send their own notifications).

This can now be turned off by checking the "disable subscription" option in "Administration / System Setting" page.

Did I understood it correctly, that there is possibility to turn off subscription globally by checking the "disable subscription" option in "Administration / System Setting" page, but it is NOT possible to optionally enable subscription after this?
