It would be extremely handy if the configuration's description field could be displayed as a tooltip when the user hover's over the configuration link/name. It would allow users to get understand what a configuration does without driving down into the configuration settings to find it.

I would be happy to investigate on our side and submit a patch, if it's something you guys would accept.

This is a reasonable request and we will cover it in next one or two patch releases.

I was recently able to upgrade our server (to 6.1.21) and am not seeing the configuration's description as a toolthip when hovering over the configuration name in the configuration tree gadget on the dashboard -- I am unsure if this broke in a recent version, or was implemented in a different manner?

In my case, I have a /root/Main configuration and added a simple "Test" description.

Sorry this is a regression bug, we've mistakenly waved this out when merge the code. Will add it back in next patch release.
