When promoting from a configuration to another configuration for a second time, the screen shows the old promotion and old promotion status for the target configuration...
(Implied configuration) 3.5.1.40 -> (failed icon) QA: 3.5.1.40 If the screen is refreshed, we see the true state 3.5.1.40 -> (building icon) QA: 3.5.1.40 This could lead to confusion by clicking on the old link and seeing the old target (qa) build instead of the new promotion. (Especially in a distributed rights setup) Change to auto refresh on "repromotion" so the correct status is displayed. Believe it already does this if a promotion does not exist for the source configuration already- just a problem when a promotion has already been attempted and the destination build number is calculated and is the same. |
