Our QuickBuild server is configured to authenticate users through Active Directory. However, domain users contain "-" such as user1-ext are unable to login QuickBuild. Is there any restriction to usernames and/or special characters in usernames?
Thanks, ptrinh |

| QB disallows ", / \\ : * ? \" < > | [ ]" in user name, and "-" is allowed. I added a user with name "user1-ext" into Active Directory, and QB can login with it successfully. I guess there is something wrong at your Active Directory side. You may test with some LDAP tool to see if it can bind as that account. |

We removed '-' from the user, and it was logged into QB successfully.
Thanks! ptrinh |
