Perforce supports creating clients as "readonly" or "partitioned". Creating clients this way can improve Perforce server performance for common build server use cases where clients may be short-lived, by reducing database contention.
In QB this configuration would be a new option when defining a Perforce repository, in the Client specification section (similar to existing Submit Options, Line Endings drop-downs).
