Sorry if this isnt the JIRA project for this Robin but I really think you need to set the default refresh on Quiclipse to something much more reasonable. We have 50 developers using it and that results in 100 hits per minute and the hessian code isnt actually lightweight so on a PRIMERGY server with 4Gb memory, and 2 quad cores thats running JIRA, Confluence, Jive (in separate tomcat instances), Mysql and subversion, the Quickbuild tomcat instance is the highest loaded process, taking 20% of the %CPU. I can see no way to throttle them back server side. I think a min refresh frequency of 5 mins is what we would like to see and a default of 5 too.
