We were wondering if having variables at the system level could be possible ?
One case we would see the benefit of this would be for Cloud Profiles for instance. Here our current situation : We have a private cloud and sometimes we are not 100% sure a hardware profile has enough capacity to spawn a new VM. We have an api and could create a script to get a usable hardware profile prior to spawn a vm. As we have multiple Cloud Profile it would mean edit and change the script in each hardware profile (which can be confusing and create errors). If we could have a global system to store the script and recall it when spawning the VM it would be better Thanks |
