We're currently implementing a plugin which uses the configuration setting extension point. We need the possibility to set some values and others should be inherited and not the whole configuration setting. I tried with @Inheritable in ConfigurationSetting class and it throws a ClassCastException because obviously it only works with Configurations. It would be highly appreciated when a configuration setting also has the same possibilities as the general settings or the advanced settings to set only some properties in the settings and inherit others from parent configuration.
Currently I try to work around that, but it produces some pain ;)
