 Description  « Hide
Currently, changing the type of a step clears all fields in the form, requiring re-entry of all values. Since the forms are so radically different between different step types, this usually isn't a problem, since changing the step type is only done initially. However, in the specific case of the batch command steps, I have been experimenting with either type, and it is tedious to have to re-enter the command and working directory, when they aren't hardly changing.

Changing the step type also resets the description, enabled flag, execute condition, environment variables, and detect errors flag..

This is a request to preserve the values of the command line, working directory, and environment variable settings when changing the type of an existing step
It may also be of value to preserve all fields shared between any two step types when changing the type of an existing step.
