On the forum thread we said that we have a workaround for this issue. In the last couple of days we experienced that not having this issue fixed in QuickBuild and only having the workaround is pretty dangerous.
We now have a lot of configurations which are triggered periodically (5 minutes) and they produce large build results. We applied the fix described in the forum thread to the root configuration so that all configurations could benefit from easy dependency declarations. But on some intermediate configuration the necessary entries were overwritten. This lead to two days where our QuickBuild server was under heavy load and produced massive amounts of data.
For us this is not a minor problem anymore. We would appreciate getting this issue fixed in some of the next Versions of QuickBuild.

This issue has now been fixed in 6.0.14 (due to JIRA bug, we can not update status of this issue now for some reason)
