It would be very helpful if QB would be able to pass User Data to EC2 instances on startup
http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/ec2-instance-metadata.html It is convenient to use user data, because from within an instance you can retrieve the data by querying a fixed address (http://169.254.169.254/latest/user-data) without any authorization, so this way you can pass extra startup parameters. |
