We are wondering if there would be some way to improve user interface when adding steps to configs and when running ~maintenance scripts. In our system, we have some 500+ repos with corresponding 500+ check out steps, not to mention other steps that run builds. When composing configurations, it is nice to drag steps from the list. Except... if the list is some 700 entries long. It is very cumbersome to hold the mouse and wait until it scrolls up to the configuration to place them. It would be nice if the steps were scrollable independently in a frame next to configuration. We tried dragging from another window but this does not work.
The use of ~maintenance scripts has a different problem. The list of available steps/repos/variables is scrollable but unfortunately it is unsorted. So we have to exercise incredible concentration trying to scan for values.
