Please provide an icon or indication of some sort in the variable view of a configuration, such that it is immediately obvious and intuitive that a given variable is defined in an ancestor. In other words, to answer the question "Is this variable newly defined here, or is it an override of a ancestor's variable"

| The variables tab of configuration already has a sign of whether or not it is inherited. Or do you mean something else? |
