Description |
Rather than leaving the user to navigate back up the configuration tree looking for the parent configuration that defines a specific item it would be very useful if the effective (i.e. inherited) item was displayed at the configuration level the user is currently viewing. Obviously it would need to presented in such a manner that the user can easily tell that its not defined at the current configuration level and where it really is defined but this would make comrpehending complex configuration environments much much easier. |
