Renaming the root configuration causes an error when you click on 'dashboards':
Can not find configuration 'root'. I like to re-name the root configuration to indicate the name of the server host. |

In this case, you should be able to back to dashboard in failsafe mode, change relevant gadget settings to de-reference the configuration of name "root". Then switch back to normal dashboard mode. |
