 Description  « Hide
I am trying to sync a configuration tree from one QuickBuild server to another. The configuration tree has 8 sub configurations. The sync took forever, I had to stop the QB service of the server which the configurations were synced to. I then started the service and found that there were only 2 configurations went through. Please look into this issue.

 Thanks
ptrinh

Are both servers running same version? If yes, please check if there are any errors printed in build log.

Phong Trinh [28/Feb/17 01:54 AM]
yes, both servers are running same version, 6.1.36.One is running on Linux platform, and another is running on Windows 10. I think this should not be a problem. This configuration sync caused the QB server (Sync to) hung when I stop the job.

While it is hanging, please get a stack trace and send to me:
/path/to/jdk/bin/jstack <QB server JVM process id>

Phong Trinh [01/Mar/17 03:44 PM]
I attached the stack trace and QB log files.

From the stack trace, the sync step is waiting for database connection. Probably your system is busy and database connections are used up. Please either increase database connections (edit conf/hibernate.properties) or do the sync task while system is free.

Thank you for promptly response.
I tried to sync the configurations on last Sunday when the usage is low, but I didn't have any luck. Look like I need to increase the database connections.

Robin Shen [04/Mar/17 12:31 AM]
Let me know if it works by increasing database connections.

Phong Trinh [08/Mar/17 11:36 PM]
I will keep you informed. Thank you.
